The CRQM time module combines employee master data with a supervisor structure, time recording as a web app for smartphones and wall-mounted tablets, shift models, balances and month-end closing, and absence management with an approval workflow – in one system for sites in Switzerland and Poland, consistently in German, English and Polish.
The time clock needs no user accounts of its own: access is tied to the site, and employees clock in via the employee list or a personal PIN. Shift templates with multi-week rotation, night shifts across midnight and break logic that detects forgotten or too short breaks keep target and actual hours current automatically. Per employee you choose between classic clocking, trust-based working time or documentation only.
Absences run through a request and approval workflow with several assignable supervisors, where the first decision counts. Month-end closing locks completed months in an audit-proof manner. For Switzerland the module produces the SECO exports for short-time work; for Poland it imports electronic sick notes (e-ZLA) directly from ZUS. The attendance overview in the ERP header shows who is on site.

e-ZLA import from ZUS (Poland)
Electronic sick notes are retrieved automatically on working days, matched via PESEL and adopted as an approved absence by an authorised person with one click. Diagnosis codes are visible only at the highest permission level.
SECO short-time work export (Switzerland)
Two CSV exports in the format required by the authorities: lost hours report per employee and employee master data, both based on the same definition of hours worked.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do our employees need an ERP user account to clock in?
No. The time clock is a stand-alone web app that is reached via a unique address per site and can be installed as an app on iOS and Android. Employees clock in by tapping their name in the employee list or with a personal PIN; access is bound to the site on the server side. An ERP user account is only needed for self-service functions such as the personal time overview.
What happens if someone forgets to clock out or to record a break?
Forgotten clock-ins are closed automatically by the system based on shift end, tolerance and maximum working time – clearly marked as such. The break logic detects forgotten, too short or out-of-window breaks and corrects actual hours transparently. Every clocking retains its entry time and change reason; faulty single stamps remain visible to authorised users but are not included in actual hours.
Which country-specific requirements for Switzerland and Poland are covered?
For Swiss sites, short-time work is kept as a separate absence type; from it the module produces the two SECO-compliant CSV exports (lost hours report and employee master data). For Polish sites, the holiday account can be kept in hours, and electronic sick notes (e-ZLA) are retrieved directly from ZUS and adopted as absences with one click. Both countries run in the same system, trilingual in German, English and Polish.
