Finance & Payments
From goods receipt to payment clearing, CRQM posts without manual ledger entry.
A complete double-entry accounting system with general ledger, receivables and payables, fixed assets, VAT for Switzerland and Poland, and payments to Swiss standards. Purchase order, goods receipt, invoice and payment post automatically through configurable account matrices. Every change to an open item is written to an immutable mutation log, so any past reporting date can be reproduced exactly.
Financial accounting is the most extensive module in CRQM: a complete double-entry system with general ledger, receivables and payables sub-ledgers, fixed assets, accruals and deferrals, foreign currencies and VAT for several countries. Because purchasing, sales, inventory and production run in the same system, the document flow from purchase order through goods receipt, invoice and payment to clearing posts without manual ledger entry. Account determination relies solely on configurable matrices, maintained separately per site.
Postings are never deleted but reversed by contra entry. Changes to open items pass through a single write layer into an immutable mutation log with user, field diff and economic effective date. The open items list can therefore be reproduced exactly for any past reporting date, and a weekly consistency check reports deviations by e-mail.
Two tax jurisdictions are covered in production: the Swiss VAT summary delivers the cumulated ESTV figures directly, and Poland is connected via JPK_V7M, KSeF, split payment and whitelist checks. Sites act as accounting units with their own currency, so CHF and PLN are managed within one company.

Highlights
What sets this module apart from typical SME solutions
Mutation log for open items
Every change is recorded append-only with before/after values, user and economic effective date. A weekly consistency check compares the log with live data and reports deviations by e-mail.
Exact reconstruction per reporting date
Open items lists and account statements can be restored exactly for any past date, including cash discount and exchange rate effects. The reconciliation report compares sub-ledger and general ledger per reporting date.
Bank import with matching cascade
camt.053/054 files are imported by drag and drop and matched via QR reference, invoice number in the payment text, or debtor plus amount. Cash discounts and rounding differences are classified automatically, duplicates are detected.
Switzerland and Poland in one system
ESTV figures 289, 400 and 405 straight from the VAT summary, JPK_V7M as XML and CSV, KSeF e-invoicing inbound and outbound with offline queue and UPO confirmation, split payment and whitelist verification of supplier bank accounts.
VAT reconciliation with cause analysis
The reconciliation matrix compares VAT codes with general ledger balances and breaks every difference down by cause automatically, with a document list per cause and drill-down into individual postings.
Multi-currency down to item level
Postings, open items and account balances carry company and foreign currency in parallel. Period-end revaluation restates general ledger accounts, receivables and payables, with preview and PDF evidence.
Account determination via matrices
Posting, inventory, payables, receivables and asset matrices determine the accounts of all automatic postings. No hard-wired accounts, everything configurable per site.
Safety nets before posting
Posting preview with VAT breakdown, plausibility warnings for missing VAT codes or open supplier credits, posting period lock per site.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does CRQM ensure audit compliance?
Postings are not deleted but reversed by a contra entry that references the original. Changes to open items are written to an immutable mutation log with field diff, user and economic effective date. From this log, the state of every item can be reconstructed for any reporting date, and a weekly consistency check reports deviations by e-mail.
How are Switzerland and Poland managed in one system?
Sites are accounting units with their own currency, chart of accounts reference, matrices, tax rates, number ranges and posting periods. For Switzerland, CRQM delivers the ESTV return figures, QR-bill, camt import and pain.001; for Poland, JPK_V7M, KSeF inbound and outbound, split payment, whitelist checks and National Bank rates. External staff such as fiduciaries switch between companies with one login, optionally with mandatory two-factor authentication per target company.
How does the bank statement import work?
CRQM imports ISO 20022 statements in camt.053 and camt.054 format and assigns them to the bank account via IBAN or QR-IBAN. Incoming payments are matched to open items via QR reference, recognised invoice numbers, or debtor plus amount; unmatched payments are still created and posted manually. A preview with traffic-light markers shows all transactions before any journal lines are created.
